Dear Parish Family,
It seems like only a brief time ago we were ringing in 2015 and now, ready or not, here comes 2016! This has been a good year for our parish and one marked with many special events, activities. and improvements. Highlights include the visit to our neighborhood by Pope Francis, two food drives, several talks by a variety of speakers, the Bazaar, Easter Mass with Bishop Holley, Fr. Andrew’s 25th anniversary, the visitation of the reilics of Blessed Louis and Zelie Martin with a Mass by Archbishop Roache of the Vatican curia, Founder’s Day with Cardinal McCarrick, increased registrations, additional people giving on-line, much-needed work on the boiler, the drainage and landscaping. Sadly, we also said goodbye to several long-time parishioners who are on their way to their true home with the Lord. This parish, in our 102nd year, continues to be the presence of Christ in or neighborhood in here in Northwest Washington because of your goodness and generosity. Please continue to give of your time, talent and treasure; it makes such a difference. For those who, having looked at their finances, are seeking to make an end of the year gift, you may do so up to December 31st. Thank you again for your generosity.
Your servant in Christ,
